/ Safety & Support Approach
Care with clear boundaries.
LIOS combines social connection, private wellbeing features and optional professional pathways. Each layer must remain clearly labelled, separately permissioned and appropriate to the user’s location.
01
Not an emergency service
LIOS cannot monitor every user or guarantee intervention. If someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services or a qualified crisis service now.
02
Licensed professionals
Where professional support is offered, provider identity, licensing, service scope, pricing, privacy terms and jurisdiction should be shown before booking or payment.
03
Crisis pathways
Risk-sensitive experiences should present country-appropriate emergency and crisis resources. Automated signals must not be described as diagnosis, certainty or a replacement for clinical judgment.
04
Moderation
LIOS should combine user reporting, trained review, technical safeguards, escalation procedures and documented response standards. Safety decisions must be auditable and proportionate.
05
Privacy separation
Private reflections and wellbeing signals should not become public profile content, employer-level individual reporting or advertising inputs. Access should follow least-privilege controls.
